On 5 December 2025, a Thailand National Day reception was held at the Statesman Lounge to honour Group Captain Tachakorn Bhuritornjinda. The event was organised as a gesture of respect and enduring friendship, while further strengthening bilateral relations and the spirit of strategic cooperation between Malaysia and Thailand, particularly in the context of defence and regional security. The programme included a cake-cutting ceremony and the presentation of a commemorative token by the Commandant, symbolising appreciation and the close ties between both parties.
