September 19, 2025 – Joint Committee Meeting (Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Bersama)

The National Resilience College (NRC) and the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) convened the Joint Committee Meeting (Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Bersama) to discuss future collaboration and the strategic direction of NRC’s academic and leadership programmes. The meeting was chaired by Major General Abdul Karim bin Ahmad, Commandant of NRC, and Professor Ts. Dr Norhana binti Abdul Halim, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), NDUM, together with the Head of Academics, senior faculty members and convenors.

During the session, both institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening academic excellence, introducing new postgraduate pathways, enhancing curriculum relevance, and expanding international engagements and emphasised the importance of innovation, global collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure that NRC remains a leading centre of excellence in resilience and national security. The meeting concluded with a shared vision to advance Malaysia’s defence education agenda through more potent institutional synergy and forward-looking academic initiatives.
