The Commandant of the National Resilience College (NRC) paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Forces, General Tan Sri Hj Mohd Nizam bin Hj Jaffar, at his office today. The courtesy call was held in conjunction with the appointment of Major General Abdul Karim bin Ahmad as the 4th Commandant of NRC on 3 July 2025. The visit also aimed to seek the Chief of Defence Forces’ views, guidance, and mandate, as well as to discuss the strategic direction of NRC as the premier institution of higher learning within the Malaysian Armed Forces. NRC continues to serve as a strategic think tank for the advancement of national security policies and actively collaborates with domestic and international organisations, in line with the Fourth Command Philosophy of the Chief of Defence Forces — “Strengthening Defence Diplomacy and Military Relations.” With this, NRC aspires to lead the Malaysian Armed Forces’ Professional Military Education and Training towards excellence and readiness in building a world-class force.
