On 15 January 2026, the National Resilience College continued its Foundation Week programme by welcoming Prof. Dr Kartini Aboo Talib @ Khalid, Deputy Director of the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), as an Eminent Speaker to address “Ethnic Cohesion and Social Political Stability.” Drawing on Malaysia’s lived experience as a plural society, the session emphasised that cohesion was not a soft agenda but a strategic asset, shaping public trust, institutional legitimacy, and the nation’s ability to manage differences without escalation. By linking identity dynamics, social stability, and governance outcomes, the lecture reinforced why sustaining inter-ethnic understanding and inclusive civic resilience remained essential to national security, crisis management, and long-term development.
